Jeffrey “Jeff” Grim is a proven leader in the worksite insurance industry. Grim was hired in May of 2014 to lead Employee Benefit System’s nationally successful program which provides voluntary insurance coverage to members of the IAMAW and their families.
Employee Benefit Systems provides the Machinist Custom Choices Program, a supplemental insurance organization. It was established in 1997 at the overwhelming request of members of the International Association of Machinist and Aerospace Workers. Twenty years later we proudly continue to serve and manage what is truly the members program.
Grim attended Alvernia University studying business and is a Marine Corps veteran. The motto “Semper Fidelis” or "always faithful" has steered his course in his personal and professional life.
Jeff is a husband and father of 4 children. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, and enjoying a cigar on the back patio.
Ron Fields began his career as an agent over 40 years ago and has held leadership roles with American General/AIG, Aflac, and Homeland Healthcare before joining EBS as CEO in 2018. He brings experience as a producer, carrier executive, and agency leader.
Ron was the company leader in every position with American General/AIG and Aflac. He Attended Virginia Commonwealth University and holds the LUTCF,CLF, and CLU designations.
He is married to his high school sweetheart Brenda for 45 years and they have 3 children and 6 grandchildren
VP Marketing & Client Relations
Jason “Jase” Granger is the Vice President of marketing & customer relations for Employee Benefit Systems. Jason joined EBS in 2005 and has been an essential part in cultivating our valued Union relationships from their infancy to the current seasoned partnership EBS enjoys today. He understands the value of trust, reliability and partnership and embodies those traits in his current role as VP of marketing. Jason is working with our team in developing multiple platforms to reach our members.
Jason is a lifelong resident of Houston and has witnessed challenging historical times such as IKE, Harvey, COVID-19 but that has only strengthened his business resolve to work harder in challenging times for our member. As an active member in the community and the EBS family Jason knows how to pivot our strategy to better serve our members.
Jason studied communications at St. Edwards University in Austin, Tx. He is the lucky uncle of 6 young boys and 1 little girl. Jason’s hobbies include being on the lake or in the water as much as possible while also rooting for his favorite sports team since he is an avid sports fan.
VP of Sales
Galen Bullock is the Vice President of Sales for Employee Benefit Systems. He brings over 30 years of management and executive level experience in both the retail and insurance industries. He has extensive knowledge of the health, life, and retiree benefits with a focus on the supplemental coverages. Galen and the Enrollment Team are committed to helping the members and their families with programs that provide added financial protection and peace of mind.
Galen lives in West Chester, PA with wife Karen of 26 years and two beautiful daughters, Brooke and Carly.
VP of Operations
Tammy Weatherman is Vice President of Operations Employee Benefit Systems, Inc. Tammy Weatherman is a seasoned insurance professional with 20+ years of insurance industry experience. Tammy has held multiple positions over the course of her career, including Business Owner, Sales Executive, Benefits Consultant/ Broker, and Account Manager for National Large Accounts. Tammy has diverse and vast knowledge of designing, implementing and providing excellent service and customized benefit plans. With multiple carriers Tammy has earned the designation of Leaders Circle 5 years, Top Tier agent, and various other Leader designations. Tammy, as the Vice President of Operations for EBS, is committed to Service Excellence within her team of Benefit Professionals. Tammy encourages feedback from our members and is constantly striving to enhance our service excellence model.
Tammy lives in Houston, Texas with her husband Mark and two dachshunds. She has three grown children and two twin grandsons. Tammy is active in her community and church.
Director of Administration
Shelly Milner is Director of Administration at Employee Benefit Systems, Inc. Shelly has 27 years of experience in the insurance industry. She has held many positions in her insurance career, including
Sales Assistant, Underwriting Assistant, Customer Service Representative, and Director of Administration. Shelly is committed to excellence in customer service and Account Management to all of our union members. Shelly prides herself on the tenure of her service staff with the average being 19 years. They bring a breadth of knowledge from a Billing, Claim and overall insurance perspective. As the leader of her team, Shelly is proud to be accountable for the high standard of member satisfaction that EBS expects.
Shelly lives in Houston, Texas with her husband Glenn and two daughters. In her off time, she enjoys cooking, reading, and tending the flowers in her garden.
